Earlier this month we had our ESACH Meeting in Madrid and it was a success! The ESACH Team sincerely thanks all the wonderful people involved and hope to meet you all again soon. We are also happy to announce that the second issue of our ESACH Quarterly Magazine is on its way! All of you are warmly invited to send your articles, poetries, photgraphies or other writting papers by August 27. Keep reading for more details!

ESACH Quarterly Magazine (Issue n°2)
 
We are currently working on Issue n°2 of our ESACH Quarterly Magazine! We encourage students and early young professionals to submit their scientific or creative writting pieces under a variety of formats, from academic papers to interviews or poetries. You can check the submission guidelines on our website. You have time until August 27 to submit your papers!
 
If you haven't had a chance to check Issue n°1 yet, it is possible to download it! Don't miss the opportunity of having your paper published with us!

COVID-19 SURVEY on Cultural Heritage Students
 
On July 18 ESACH is launching its very own COVID-19 survey in order to better understand how the pandemic's situation has affected the lives of young heritage professionals. We all know that the heritage field has been one of the most deeply affected by lockdowns and travel restructions, so we would like to understand how to better move towards recovery in the near future. Your opinion means a lot to us!

Open call for Heritage Place - Lab Pilot Phase
 
The ICCROM-IUCN World Heritage Leadership Programm has an open call for those who are interested in being a part of their Heritage Place Lab. Candidates will be divided into teams and will work on topics relevant to the World Heritage List. They encourage researchers, site managers and graduates to apply by June 30.

"Paintings Conservation" online talk
 
On July 7 the British Association of Paintings Conservator-Restorers is hosting an online talk on the sustainability for paintings conservation. ICOMOS Student Competition 2021: 1960 plus – Brutalism
 
This year's biennial student competition proposed by ICOMOS Germany will focus on post-1960's architecture. ICOMOS is looking for works (in English or German) that can explain why brutalist buildings are worth preserving and also the valuable meanings that can be attributed to them. The submission deadline is September 27 and the winners will be awarded a 500€ prize!
