ESACH MEETING 2021

Where: Madrid, Spain
Date: Spring 2021
Theme: Our common past, our future
details
The 3rd ESACH Meeting "Our common past, our future", is organised by ESACH and the MA Cultural Heritage in the 21st Century: Management and Research (ESACH Madrid). It will be hosted by the Complutense University of Madrid and open to both members and non-members.
The meeting was meant to be in June 2020. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was postponed to 2021.

Theme
The meeting aims to continue the work carried out in previous meetings in Girona (2018) and Genova (2019) by creating a place for the exchange of knowledge and ideas about cultural heritage. In 2021, the emphasis will be on sustainable management strategies, the 2030 Agenda and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. We believe that cultural heritage has much to contribute in the fight against the climatic emergency, as reflected in the development of the COP25 Madrid-Chile 2019.
speakers
The Meeting will consist of 14 presentations and eight poster presentations, as well as a practical workshop on Cultural Heritage Management and visits to cultural sites throughout Madrid. In addition, we will invite heritage experts, professional and community associations to participate in specific presentations and discussion tables.
