Enjoy the reading! ESACH NEWSESACH Talks! New Professionals' Forum - registrations still open! The registrations for the November ESACH Talks are still open! This month’s theme: new technologies and innovation. What happens when new technologies encounter cultural heritage studies? How can photography, social media, communications and other digital tools help heritage practitioners? In collaboration with Europeana’s New Professionals' Task Force, join us for an evening filled with inspiring presentations and new ideas for the future. Register now! Mark your calendar: next month's ESACH Talks will take place on the 16th of December. This time, the focus will be on the relationship between culture and sustainable development. PARTNER NEWSEuropeana 2020 Conference The Europeana Conference 2020 is an important online hub for heritage practitioners sharing their work and commitment to the field. The topics explored in these three-day conversations are related to crisis, change and culture in the digital heritage sector. This Friday, our Vice-president will be representing ESACH to advocate for increasing support for new professionals. We feel honoured to be featured in such an important conference, and we hope this will be the starting point of a fruitful collaboration with Europeana. Go through the program, and learn more below. ESACH + European Heritage Tribune New partnership The European Heritage Tribune is a non-profit organisation dedicated to building a Pan European Network of heritage connections devoted to providing European citizens with opportunities to participate in, and appreciate, all forms of heritage and culture throughout Europe. The ESACH blog on the EHT website will feature short writings and presentations by ESACH members, starting with the presenters of the ESACH Talks. Read the blog Digital Forum Urban Agenda for the EU: Culture and Cultural Heritage in Europe As part of the Urban Agenda for the EU, the EU has developed a partnership of 30 stakeholders across Europe. Partners are currently working on concrete actions to manage and develop the European heritage, taking into account social, ecological and economical factors. On 24th and 25th of November, the concrete Action plan will be disclosed and finalised in the context of the EU Council Presidency.
