The European Heritage Youth Ambassadors programme calls for young people residing in Europe to share their stories and experiences about heritage on online platforms (e.g. on social media, websites, or blogs), with an aim to engage more people in the field. At the same time, each European Heritage Youth Ambassador will act as a bridge between students and young professionals and European heritage institutions like Europa Nostra, ESACH, and the European Heritage Tribune, for the realisation of many more youth-led initiatives! Hear from the 2021 European Heritage Youth Ambassadors and their experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkAm53JrGGM Description of the positionAs part of the European Heritage Youth Ambassadors programme, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing heritage youth movement; to represent the voice of young people within Europa Nostra’s activities; to widely share your heritage-related experiences on social media; to participate in conferences and events; to engage in ESACH’s projects and activities, and to be a reporter for the European Heritage Tribune in your own country. This includes sharing relevant news articles about cultural heritage from your base country with the European Heritage Tribune, assisting the EHT editor-in-chief with translating articles and creating open-format blog entries.
The position is voluntary and requires an availability of at least 10 hours per month, including attending an online monthly meeting of 1 hour. The programme will start in February 2022 and will run for 12 months. For the first edition in 2021, 11 European Heritage Youth Ambassadors from different countries were selected. Requirements

The European Heritage Tribune (EHT) is an independent news platform on cultural heritage in Europe. By sharing the latest heritage news from all European countries, the EHT informs, connects and inspires cultural heritage professionals and lovers. The EHT is a legacy of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018. The EHT answered the need for an overview of who is doing what, where and how. The ultimate goal of the EHT is to build bridges of understanding and to create new collaborations.
