Open call for good practices - Cultural Heritage in Action - If you are part of the administration of a city, region or a rural area in the EU, you can fill in this form to highlight your work in cultural heritage through the EU-funded Cultural Heritage in Action programme, which aims at empowering cities and regions to strengthen their cultural heritage policies and initiatives, as well as develop innovative solutions to preserve cultural heritage assets.
Deadline for applications is 15 October and they can be submitted here. Call for abstracts for the FRH Biennial Conference 2023 – Future for Religious Heritage (FRH) announces the launch of the Call for Abstracts for its Biennial Conference 2023. This high-level event will take place on 20, 21 and 22 April 2023 in Lund, Sweden, and will raise questions about the challenge of heritage sustainability.
Abstracts must be submitted by 31 October through this online form, and more information can be found here. Call for papers - Cultural Sustainability: Can ‘Cultural Impact’ be Measured?” - this special call for papers aims at exploring the policy and managerial implications of the evaluation of cultural values and their impact in relation to the SDG from 2030 and beyond, and the selected papers will be published in May 2023.
The deadline is 31 December, and further information can be found here. Call for programme contributors to the European Youth Event 2023 - young people are invited to propose activities within the European Youth Event 2023, due to take place in Strasbourg and online on 9-10 June 2023. The event will bring together thousands of young people on site and online to hold discussions, exchange ideas and have lots of fun. More information can be found here. workshopWorkshops offered by The Heritage Management Organization - THMO offers two workshops in the month of November, one titled “Interpretive Writing for Natural and Cultural Heritage” (deadline for registration 16 October, taking place 11 - 23 November) and another one on “Introduction to Heritage Interpretation for Site Managers” (deadline for registration 23 October, taking place 25 - 27 November). Both workshops are online and there is also the possibility to obtain a scholarship that would cover the majority of the tuition fees, except for participants’ contribution.
