histoCON is finally back to take place in person from 7-10 September 2022 in Berlin! We are inviting you to discuss new perspectives on history with young people from all over the world. Around 250 young people from all over the world are invited to come to Berlin to look at post-1945 history through interactive, creative formats. A hybrid event due to take place online and in The Hague between 28-30 September, the conference will focus on exploring the links between cultural heritage and the digital transformation, with a dedicated section for proposals on the European Year of Youth. Deadline for submissions has now been extended to 10 June 2022, and more information can be found here. ENCATC organises 2022 Education and Research Session alongside the 2022 ENCATC Congress - participants are invited to submit abstracts and/or teaching proposals focused on topics such as cultural networks, internationalisation of cultural management and policy or specificities of Cultural Management Processes in Latin America.

EUNIC launches third Call for Ideas of the Preparatory Action European Spaces of Culture - EUNIC members, EU Delegations, and their local partners, even from countries outside of the EU, are invited to submit project proposals focused on the EU’s strategic approach to international cultural relations and practical ways to implement it.
Project ideas can be submitted until 19 June 2022. More details can be found here. Call for abstracts - Cities’ Identity Through Architecture and Arts (CITAA) conference - the event will take place on 5 - 7 December in Pisa, Italy, and will approach the topics of identifying and shaping cities and formation, heritage arts, contemporary arts and development of cities’ vocabularies.

CULTUROPOLIS - International Days of Cultural Rights - an event organised by Culture Action Europe, scheduled to take place on 16 - 19 November in Barcelona, it features both a call for projects and a call for papers with the deadline of 15 July 2022. “Contested Cultural objects and the Role of Provenance Research” Summer School - due to take place from Monday 29 August to Thursday 1 September 2022 in a hybrid format - Leiden University Campus and online, the event will bring together professionals from law, heritage, law enforcement and the art market. The focus will be on current ethical and legal standards for contested cultural objects, and special interest will be given to provenance research.

The HECTOR project offers an online course and a summer school on tourism in the industrial heritage sector - the online course is a prerequisite for having the chance of being selected for the summer school, which will take place on 12 - 18 September in Abbadia San Salvatore, an Italian village located in the south of Tuscany.

Call for Participation: Forum at the conference "On Critical Education and Unlearning in Museums“ - the event, scheduled for 7 November online and on-site in Wolfsburg, Germany, will focus on the gender-sensitive and racism-critical work which can be done in museums.

The deadline for applications is 3 July 2022, with further information to be available here. “Who’s afraid of decolonisation?” training - a training organised by NEMO and hosted by the UK Museums Association, SS Great Britain and Bristol Museums, it will take place on 16 September in Bristol, the United Kingdom. The training will explore what decolonisation in museums means and also include introductions to the theories and practices behind this work. Open vacancy at Live DMA for research officer position - Live DMA is a European network for music venues, clubs and festivals based in Nantes, France which gathers 20 members in 16 countries. The main missions of this role include conducting a study on programming practices in the live music scenes and setting up a preliminary report on the importance of live music scenes in artistic development.
