Call for proposals
INOVA+ and the European Music Council (EMC) call for proposals under theMusicAIRE (An Innovative Recovery for Europe) project, co-funded by the European Union under the 2020 Annual work programme for the implementation of the “Preparatory Action – Music Moves Europe: Boosting European music diversity and talent. The Preparatory Action’s aim is to test and prepare EU support under the Creative Europe programme (2021-2027) for “sectorial support on music” in addition to existing funding opportunities (e.g.: cooperation projects, networks, platforms). Call for volunteers - restauration camp at Bánffy Castle, Bonțida, Romania
Transylvania Trust offers two training modules on the historic building conservation at one of Transylvania’s most iconic castles, which has also seen a yearly revival through the Electric Castle music festival. The two-week programme includes theoretical presentations, practical work and field trips to further explore the region’s heritage. More details are found here.

NEMO and MOI! Museums of Impact are organising an online training on assessing and developing the impact of individual museums.
The trainings will feature 16 selected professionals who will be introduced to the MOI self-evaluation framework. This impact-focused framework aims to benefit both museums and European citizens. More details can be found here.

Scholarships for heritage management capacity building
The Heritage Management Organization will continue to provide scholarships in 2022 for heritage experts working with African organisations. The topics for the offered trainings range from communication strategy and marketing to the use of digital use and how to foster community engagement.
The next session is titled “Successful Fundraising for Heritage Managers: Strategies and Best Practices” and will take place 11-13 March. The training programmes are organised throughout the year, with more details being available here.
The Centre for Global Heritage and Development at the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Universities are preparing a summer school on contested cultural objects and the role of provenance research (ownership history of artefacts). The school will take place from Monday 29 August to Thursday 1 September 2022 in a hybrid format - Leiden University Campus and online. More details will be published in March here
Call for applications ”Let’s build a beautiful city” Summer School on traditional and classical urban design and architecture - this summer school will take place between July 18th - August 4th in Utrecht, The Netherlands, and aims at providing the students with the skills needed to design quality, sustainable urban environments that would also tackle the housing crisis. The festival will take place from 9 to 12 June, mainly in Brussels (but with complementary events in other locations). Call for Applications: 2022 European Museum Academy Awards - museum practitioners are invited to submit their institutions and projects until 15 April. The awards have two strands - the Luigi Micheletti Award, focused on contemporary European history and its scientific, industrial and social heritage and the DASA Award, focused on the learning opportunities provided within the museum sector.
