Call for participants for Digital Tools for Cultural Heritage Management Online Training Program - This is a specialised course on spatial data (GIS), laser scanning, 3D modelling, heritage management, and community management in cooperation with Hogent University, Belgium. 3 months of online, mainly asynchronous classes (and some live ones) are rounded off with fieldwork focused on the entire workflow from data acquisition to publication. The certificate is a one-semester, part-time European Credit (ECTS)-bearing program aimed at students as well as professionals. It integrates heritage management with geomatics and is delivered online to enable students from around the world to join and also features a 10-day fieldwork component to be completed in Greece.

Find out more and apply here. 29th Annual Conference on the Complexity of History: Unpacking the Past - The conference will take place on 20-23 April 2023, in Vilnius, Lithuania. The 3-days event will highlight that history is complex because it is composed of multiple narratives and perspectives, which are then interwoven to create diverse and pluralistic societies composed of people with multilayered individual identities.

This exhibition illustrates and discusses provenance research methods, in addition to the “repercussions of the research results” and the “complexity of the decision-making process.” It focuses primarily on the ownership history of Nazi-looted art within the Academy’s collection and “the search for the collections of the Prussian Academy of Arts.”
