The European Heritage Hub was a two-year, EU-co-funded pilot (2023 - 2025) to create a permanent, autonomous knowledge, networking and advocacy platform for cultural heritage.
Led by Europa Nostra with a consortium of 20 partners, the Hub brought together stakeholders across Europe to foster synergies, strengthen policy coordination, and support Europe’s green, digital and social transitions. Its work spanned knowledge sharing (the online Heritage Library and Policy Monitor), networking via Communities of Practice/Interest and public forums, training and capacity-building, policy and advocacy, and the development of regional hubs (including Athens, Kraków, Lisbon and Nicosia), with outreach extending to EU neighbouring regions.
ESACH served as a supporting partner, helping to broaden the Hub’s outreach and impact-especially by connecting students and early-career voices with the Hub’s community and activities-complementing Hispania Nostra’s coordination of youth-related strands within the project.
